You could definitely make a solid one dayer out of the three. I would see Deftones, En Vogue, Neil Young and a few others. Too much samey Glasto though.

Being a rest year next year, this year was probably my last chance of going there , thank goodness, i wasnt succesful in getting tickets.

Just had another look at that line up, looks okay to me compared to the last few.

I begrudged paying 30-odd quid. Last time I went was 1994 and have no intention of going now even if 45 minute down the road. . I did go to Glastonbury town last week . We had a lovely lunch, bought a display cabinet and a few bits a pieces before a quick trip to the Clark's village in Street.

It was Less than £50 quid when I went in 1992. I had a thoroughly miserable time and I have never managed to understand the appeal.

I went in '92 and came back with Campylobacter . Never thought I would end up researching it!

1981. Tickets were less than a tenner but not sure exactly how much.
New Order were there apparently but I have absolutely no memory of them. I do remember Hawkwind though.

I was there in 81 and 82,83,85 & 86.

We went there in a Pine-tree van in 83 got there on the Friday morning parked up and there was a big house tent in the same field with a sign ‘French Blues Four For A Pound’ so we bought loads between us,didn’t sleep for three days, left Monday morning got home lunch time, went to bed at 2pm,slept late for afternoons the following day 🤣🤣🤣

Nice.
We didn’t bother with a tent in those days. Just sleeping bags and a huge, thick plastic envelope in case it rained.
I’m surprised we didn’t wake up dead looking back.
