• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Welsh Fire Women side is really week compared to the other teams. Take Matthews and Redmayne out it only leaves the inconsistent Taylor there is very few runs and players who can't even run any 2's . The bowling is very average with no real match winners about them.

Did we get a poundland franchise budget ?

Agree with all this, the Aussie bowler Piepa Cleary is decent too but yes totally out of thier depth.
The men getting a bit of a shoeing now too 🙈🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

A bit of a shoeing? That was so one sided it was like watching the play off final again 😂

Think the men have a side to compete.. Banton has done nothing but the team badly misses Bairstow. Every time i watch Glammy at the Ageas Bowl we get trollied by Hampshire and i've got tickets Wednesday's Southern Brave v Welsh Fire and expecting another beating although in truth i have no affinity with a franchise side

Loved the Tahir celebration - 5for and a hattrick

Oooops spoke to soon lost by almost 100 runs in a 100 competition yet Maynard thinks its all quite funny . I'm hoping to see something that looks like a contest Wednesday

Shocking with the bat and ball tonight and we have been since Bairstow went, I'll give Fletcher some credit though he bowled well, put the ball in the right areas etc, the amount of wide balls we bowled tonight was unbelievable,
phoenix had an armchair ride tonight.

 great enthusiasm for the game

Didn't help losing Ball & Plunkett to injury, should have had Ngidi as well.
Banton was supposed to be one of the big players but he's been a complete waste of space unfortunately.

Barton clearly can't be arsed, meanwhile, the only Welsh player in the WELSH fire squad David Lloyd, who has been in fine form this season, can't get a knock...,

Yeah, the Welsh Fire team with no Welsh or even Glamorgan players in it is a bit farcical

 you didn't make the link then  Same hair and the saying he needs to grow up, he often throws that up ironically  ;)

Decent game tonight probably the closest finish so far, been an enjoyable watch throughout the series though, for me anyway, pity about Welsh Fire falling away after a decent start though. :(
