• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

I watched Wednesday the other night and binged the whole series in two nights. The Last of Us reviews are too good to give up on though

Enjoyed Wednesday too. 👍

Thanks for the heads up on that one then :D

Don't take his word for it.

Starts off quite slow IMO, but the last few episodes have been very good..

Very faithful adaption of the game if you've played it. Some characters added and removed of course, while some have more characterisation than they do in the game. Episode 3 of the TV show is a great example of this and a nigh-on perfect episode of TV in my opinion, although a minority strongly disagree with that opinion.

That all seems very complicated for most of us simple being's

Loved the whole series, in awe of the acting of Bella Ramsey who is going to be a big star, and cannot wait for Series 2...

(I cannot ever bring myself to say 'Season' instead of 'Series'....standards must always be maintained !)

I'm making it sound more complicated than it is because I'm trying to avoid spoilers.

If you like post-apocalyptic stuff (Walking Dead, The Road, A Quiet Place, Day of the Triffids, etc) then give the first couple of episodes a try.

Cheers, Ecb is right it won't be for me, thanks for the breakdown though :D

I can’t stand zombie shows and won’t watch Walking Dead or similar, Mrs Mute is a fan of these, but I’m really enjoying The Last Of Us.

Exactly the same here. Mrs C loves The Walking Dead and I hate it with a passion. I’m not a fan of the zombie genre at all but The Last of Us is so much more than a “zombie” show. The infected are almost incidental.

Really enjoyed them, looking forward to season 2. I'm not a massive fan of the zombie stuff, but it's more of a background to the character stories in TLOU rather than at the forefront. I quite enjoyed The Walking Dead however towards the final third of the whole show I did get fed up. It's worth persevering beyond season 2 which was quite slow. The thing that annoys me about these types of series is that they just keep milking it for all its worth, rather than have a proper ending.
