In the song Hung Up it was Madonna that sung the lyrics “Time goes by so slowly” but she couldn’t have been more wrong as time just flies by and today we reflect back on a day,...

I've still got a newspaper from that day, no idea where it is tbh though or I'd dig it out a post a pic of the front page.

I've known Bobby Jones since I was a child. Super nice bloke (so much of a nicer man than his brother - CZJ's father). Schoolfriend of my brother from Cadle school if I remember right. The lest time I saw him was at my father's funeral and he really didn't look well. I was quite shocked. For some strange reason I always am when I see people deteriorate from the condition I remember, as if they should be fixed in time. Anyway, I don't really know all the ins an outs of that time as I was broke in the smoke, but here's to you Bob.

Funnily enough, I remember that Christmas as being a bit of a non event too.
Mel spent plenty of it in our house trying to work out plans to bring all sections of fans together.

It worked. As the Supporters club, FOSFA, the VIPs plus other interested party’s came together and had many meetings in The Grand Hotel. These meetings were all well attended, no one wanted professional football to end in West Wales.
Fans worked very hard to raise money, and in the end helped to get our club running again. I for one will never forget the work these fans put in to help save our club.

STID....

Yes I remember being in work but going to the car on the hour to see if there was any updated news on Radio Wales. Brilliant efforts back then. Hope you are keeping safe and well 🎖

Not been my best year health wise Clive, starting on Boxing Day it’s been one thing after another.

I think my season ticket would have been wasted even without COVID.

But it’s been good that I can watch the Swans on my laptop, and outdoing what I had expected for this season.

Compliments of this weird season to you and family.🦢🦢

Sorry to hear that, hope you and yours have as best a Christmas as you can. Let's hope that next year brings a positive change.
