We came down to the game on Saturday and stayed Friday night.

We went to the Pump House for something to eat/drink which was fine.

Had a quick walk around the marina beforehand and it was already dark.

The lighting was very poor which didn’t make it very inviting, so not making the most of the area.

Now this isn’t meant to be negative, but anyone else on here go there at night?

The Marina is such a wasted opportunity for hospitality.

For such a densely populated area filled with students & young professionals there’s very little going on. Compare to Cardiff Marina and the investment put into it shame really

You could have had a stroll down to the Swig then again maybe not, it can get a bit wild, [better on a nice summer afternoon} the Queens up from the Pump house its not on the Marina though, but tidy enough for a beer.

Even allowing for it to be late Feb it was very quiet and as I say not welcoming.
Done it in lighter nights and warmer weather but I was surprised that how very few places were lit.
The tram museum was in total darkness etc.
A few uprights to buildings would help.

Yes walked past the Queens and it seemed busy.

Parked near Morgan's and most of the roads to the marina were very dark
Even the seafront side of the waterfront museum and the arena weren't well lit.
Maybe if all the redevelopment plans for the area around county hall will encourage more people to the area.
