Heading to Swansea next weekend to see the folks and Mrs L and I will be staying in the Marina.

Anyone got any good suggestions for a curry house doing takeaway near there? We have been to the Patti several times but not sure if they are doing takeaway

Most places will probably open. Restaurants and pubs have been selling takeaways for a while. Hope all goes well and you get to see your mother.
