• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

WHy are they classing this as cruel? The fact that they scored in the last minutes was luck on our part and nothing less than Iran deserved

Indeed, Gabby Logan called it a ‘sucker punch’.

More like we’ve been against the ropes for 98 minutes and then taken two uppercuts to the chin.

Iran easily the better team, but that was a poor performance giving the ball away so many times. Thought we needed the subs but they didn't put enough into their game.

Iran deserved the win. I’m more disappointed with the performance. No argument over the result

As much as I don’t think we have much of a sniff at any points against England, I do feel it’s a slightly different game for us than it is for Iran and the USA. We’ll be desperate to put one over our biggest rivals and not leave with 1 point. Plus the climate will be tough for both teams familiar with UK weather.

It’s not over yet, but the rotund female is clearing her pharynx.

Let's be honest they are going to skull fuck us

Can't get at all excited about that. They were much better than us. More skilful, more dangerous, more inventive and better coached. We should poach their coach and some of their players for Swans.

Have to beat England now, which isn't a bad thing (I know we'll lose by 5 but there we are). Ramsey and Bale should be nowhere near the team, but they will be there. Ollie would have made much more of a fist of it that Wilson or Ramsey, but there we go. Allen wasn't ready, but he still looked better than Ampadu until that awful 'clearance'. Hennessey fucked up. If you get in that position try and head it.

Iran deserved it though. No point in any further analysis really. They are a better team. I hope USA beat Engo now (they won't) and it becomes two shoot outs on Tuesday. Be funny as fuck if Iran and USA were to go through.

We're done. He'll pick the grandads again, but we have a peashooter compared with England's bazooka. In any event, this lot getting through to a last 16 of a world cup would be a football travesty.

So...lets go in with nothing to lose and beat the cunts!!!!

To single out individuals is silly , people blaming page, bale , Ramsey
It was a collective defeat , we got beaten by a much better team on the day , that's all there is to it

I can see your logic behind that but this is our first World Cup for 64 years which you think they would be equally "up" for

We are carrying players who undoubtedly were (are) Wales greats but this is the biggest stage and there is no room for sentiment

The logic given to us was that they deserved a crack at the biggest stage but so did Ian Rush and Toshack but I am assuming we're not likely to play them against England

Yes, someone's got to lose and we were definitely second best. Well done Iran.

Just put Call Rob on for half hour...no wonder others think wer thick as fck.
Muppets ringing in saying well win Tuesday, not tongue in cheek either.
Jesus wept/I despair sometimes.

England do have an extensive track record for fuck ups mind.

Not this time though I fear. Not even close. They could put out 4 teams to beat us. Our only hope is Southgate and Maguire.
