As much as I don’t think we have much of a sniff at any points against England, I do feel it’s a slightly different game for us than it is for Iran and the USA. We’ll be desperate to put one over our biggest rivals and not leave with 1 point. Plus the climate will be tough for both teams familiar with UK weather.

Have to beat England now, which isn't a bad thing (I know we'll lose by 5 but there we are). Ramsey and Bale should be nowhere near the team, but they will be there. Ollie would have made much more of a fist of it that Wilson or Ramsey, but there we go. Allen wasn't ready, but he still looked better than Ampadu until that awful 'clearance'. Hennessey fucked up. If you get in that position try and head it.

I can see your logic behind that but this is our first World Cup for 64 years which you think they would be equally "up" for

We are carrying players who undoubtedly were (are) Wales greats but this is the biggest stage and there is no room for sentiment

The logic given to us was that they deserved a crack at the biggest stage but so did Ian Rush and Toshack but I am assuming we're not likely to play them against England
