Is that a window into your world then ? :D

I’ve got a lovely bunch of haemorrhoids
Piles piles piles piles piles
Red ones green ones
Some as big as an egg
Give em a twist, a flick of the wrist
That’s what the doctor said.

f**k off is it. Go back to claiming Matt Grimes is the best thing since sliced bread.

I shan't rise to that - just like little Joey couldn't when Rashford targeted him with his free kick goal.

We need far better, on and off the pitch.

Edit - Matty would stroll into this team and be the fulcrum Coops could build around, again.

He couldn’t have been more positive about the performance, how it was disappointing to go out but that's the way to go out. Can't fault any of the players, praised the effort.
Now he’s going to build for the future.

Wouldn't trust the tw@t to change a light bulb.

He’s delusional Daz, we won’t get anywhere near a tournament with him in charge.

There’s no honesty from people anymore pal, nobody will say it as it is.
It’s been an awful World Cup for us but everyone is very proud of just being there.

Absolutely, the fact we’ve qualified is amazing, but the disappointment of the last 3 performances has far outweighed the joy I felt of us qualifying. Ukraine and Austria must be baffled how we managed to beat them.

I couldn’t agree more.

Bale was knackered after 5 minutes from watching the match unfold around him. England just treated him as a roundabout from then on. Ramsey was slightly more mobile and England made sure he was in possession occasionally because they knew he’d give it back to them immediately.

Neco Williams and Keiffer Moore probably the best of our bad bunch overall.

It's funny as fvck, tomorrow's papers will be full of its coming home.

Yet again.
Innit just. The Lions roar. St George slays the Welsh Dragons, yadda, yadda, yadda. Anyways well see in a couple of weeks, if it's coming home or not. 😉

What a fantastic thread, mind. Loads of insight - from both a technical and emotional perspective. Fair play.

Isn’t it possible to do both? The problem is you always head towards an extreme just to get a rise out of people. Of course we were awful. Nobody who’s watched the last three games will deny that and I don’t think I’ve seen anyone claim we were good or even anything other than rubbish. But it’s possible to acknowledge that and still be grateful and/or proud to see your country actually get to a World Cup tournament for the first time in most of our lifetimes. If you took a step back from time to time and stop constantly trying to wind people up and/or belittle people’s views you’d be able to acknowledge that too.

Perfectly summed up for me too.

Big rebuild needed, the major problem is we don't have enough players playing consistently in the higher leagues. Tactics need looking at as playing with passion is not enough.

F*ck me, I've already had an email from Sports Direct titled "England's Three Lions beat the Welsh Dragons". Talk about rubbing salt in the wound

I didn't expect much. But the performances gave me the impression we were just glad to be there.
I haven't watched all the games but I don't recall seeing any country out there perform as poor as us.
Don't see enough talent at the top level to see us doing too well in the near future.
