• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

One game down for everyone - who has impressed most so far for you?

Couldn't see past Brazil at the start, and after tonight....they will only improve and for me are nailed on to win this thing.

Morning all...I think it's fair to say - 'must win'?

Without a doubt - firmly always believed it would be a draw against USA, win today and then that I think will b enough - clearly not guaranteed but I think it will be good enough

Yeah, I think the aim has to be a 2-nil victory (for GD) although the 3 points are the most vital thing. Not taking it as a given though by any means, we've seen plenty of teams better than us slip up so far.

A draw would put us in an extremely difficult position. A loss and I think we're effectively out.

We need to get hold of the ball in the middle of the park and dominate early. With our ageing midfield it will depend how Iran set up.

Morning kick offs (our time) are weird, but I think it’s made it more special.
As others have said. Must win
Come on boys

Bit of a concern playing at the hottest time of the day with our older players.

Not a bad line up, with the exception of Ramsey. A great player in years gone by, but I now have lads in my over 60s walking football team who can outpace him. Hope he doesn't cost us

Basically a knockout game.
Got big doubts about Page.....at least he's not playing.
