There's absolutely no upside to playing Ramsey in this tournament. Johnson is our future and has been woefully underused.

Poor management.

So, this is it, we're reduced to trying to emulate those football power houses, Saudi Arabia, Morocco and Japan, by beating one of the more fancied sides against all expectation.

We're the second smallest country at this World Cup both in terms of population size and land mass. There's an argument to be made we've punched well above our weight just by qualifying, never mind this being the third out of the last 4 tournaments we've made it to.

Yep, back to the wilderness with Ramsey and bale gone

You watch, we’ll sneak a historic win here and the other game won’t be a draw.

That's moved our chances from extremely slim to practically non-existent.

For all those moaning about our tactics, it was always going to be like this. Let them have all the ball until they get into the final third and then all-out press. Hope for a breakaway or set piece goal to spawn a 1-0 win, while relying on a draw in the other game.

Actually going for the win from the start would almost certainly have resulted in a humbling. Unfortunately Southgate seems happy to go through with a point, as he's picked the most conservative midfield possible when playing a team so clearly inferior to them on paper.

We need someone in there to do the sort of jobs Bale & Ramsey used to do.

We could get Kim from S Korea, he’s good at multi tasking.

Half-time approaching, hope Johnson for Ramsey.
