• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I keep telling you, Andy, you’ve told us all for ages that the football opinions of us posting on here are worthless so no point in keeping on at us now that they won’t let you post next door any more.

Whoosh, Andrew. In so many ways ;-)

On the plus side I missed the game due to a family thing. On the plus plus side, The Eagle does a banging lamb dinner. Good result for England. They’ll lose handily against France.

Popped to the Eagle yesterday for a late lunch, was gonna ask if they could fit us in for today, but didn't bother in the end, we went to Mary Dillwyn instead, food was nice enough but expensive for what it was and it was lukewarm disappointingly.

Mary Dilwyn is a bit shit to be honest. Cracking grub in The Eagle every time.

And to stay on topic, Argentina will win the World Cup.

Had a few lunches there Sunday lunches included, bit to long a wait for food on a Sunday though, but has always been very good, West Cross Inn is good as well.

France or Brazil for me.

This Japan team are great to watch, they're everywhere

Incredible energy and work rate but good football too. Just wonder if they can keep that intensity up for another 30 now it's gone to extra time.
