Keep up performances like the last 2 and we can start to dream.

Would be far more confident going into the playoffs with this team than the last 2 seasons

100% at least if we got to the final we’d had a shot on target this time, unlike that spineless cretin who took us there wanting out at the same time.

Some really entertaining football being played and the players look to have taken it all on board.

Fitness looks good and obvious improvement to where we were.

Looking good across the pitch and now scoring goals

Onwards and upwards.

Starting to feel more like the Brentford rather than the Stoke type team we had become.

The spine of the team is developing, Obafemi still to come in, defensively sound. A win at Birmingham and wow sky would be the limit.

It's just lovely

Our biggest Achilles's heel right now is our lack of strength in depth. That is the kind of thing that we won't fix without serious financial backing (rightly or wrongly some clubs just don't seem to play by the same rules as the rest) or several transfer windows.

We could probably do with two or three additions before we start thinking playoffs, but I'm already enjoying this season far more than I did the last two. There seems to be a purpose about us again.

I agree more strength in depth needed, but starting 11 are looking very good.

Ntcham needs to get up to speed, Obafemi hopefully starts to play a part when he is fit.

Keep building to January and hopefully then some additions to strengthen us further.

I think that we can see the overall plan that the manager is trying create, and it's one that appeals to us more than Steve Cooper's plan, even if he got us into the top 6 in two seasons, Personally, I wouldn't have been bothered if we had lost tonight because I'm enjoying the way that we play. On Saturday, I'll be getting up at a god-awful time of the morning to get a train to Brum without really being bothered about the result so long as we play entertaining football in the right way.

This season isn't the one to push for promotion - next season is. I understand people who say that you grab your chances when you can because they may not come again (e.g. the current Man Utd manager) but we need investment before we're ready to take the next leap. (But all of you know that.)

The play-offs have to be our aim, the way we are playing we may well lose half our side come the summer transfer window esp if we're unsucessful in those play-offs

Really can’t see Piroe being with us next year

Then we do our best to replace him smartly. It's what clubs like us have to do. If he goes he'll go for a decent price, which based on previous experience will be mostly reinvested back into the team. Brentford did the same. They sold a number of strikers before they made it up.

The thing I like about the current set up is that we do seem to have a long term plan. With Andy Scott there he seems to have players he wants for every position who will fit our style.

I’m sure we already have players and managers lined up for the inevitability of our manager and top players being poached.

For sure we're beginning to see the benefits of having him around. All three of the guys at the top of our recruitment structure (Scott, Allen and Martin) can be pleased with the work that we did in the summer.
