• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

The game was always going to be won with something shit like that.
Its been a terrible game
That's got to go down as a keeper error. He might have been put off by the defender looking as if he was going to head it clear but missing it, but really it's your responsibility to have those covered and keep them out of the net. I doubt Vigs would have been beaten by that.

Has Whittaker broken sweat??
I always like to see how our ex players performed. I have no axe to grind with any that move on.
From what I seen Whittaker was worse than woeful last night. Wood played OK. Manning was very good and when Downes came on he was fairly anonymous.

Whittaker was awful in both games

Wood is good at what he does, which is to outmuscle attackers on the ball, and play simple ten metre passes to his team mates. He NEVER comes out with the ball and runs forward in an attacking sense. He's certainly not the type of central defender we need for next season.

Manning reminds me of Tymon, other than Manning being the shithouser’s shithouse. Both suspect defenders, but capable of being a big attacking threat.

Middlesbrough vs Southampton lunchtime today .
Southampton have 3 ex Swans
Wood , Manning , Downes .
If you could would you have any back with us
Manning is the pick of the three but Tymon is doing such a good job at LB

If you wonder how Scumdiff got promoted, have a look at the crap on display in Stevenage v Stockport.
As a neutral, I'd quite like Stockport to come up through the play-offs. They're rise from non-league is similar to FC Disney but without the media love-in and Yankee dollar 💰
