• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

The Preston Party Thread!

It's absolutely tremendous.
A meh game at home to PNE has now become a part of history.

I think the new range of clothing associated with Snoop will be a big seller and more popular than the Death Row range.

The current state of play in the North Stand. This largely shows block NU4 with tickets left. There is half of block NU3 up to the fencing left to be put on sale and half of NL2.

Pity it's short notice and probably not possible but it would be good if the club had an official means of season ticket holders being able to transfer their tickets if they can't attend.
Used to happen in the PL days.

‘(Tickets)…Literally flying off the shelves’ ?

Iesu Mawr.

Mr Tossell is spinning. If he’s dead. If not, merely tutting into his coco-pops.

Wow, what a turn up for the books!

Not only a sellout, but the biggest turnout at the stadium ever recorded.

I’m just thankful that I have my trusty season ticket which gives me access to the stadium and a seat with my name on it figuratively speaking.

I’ve missed some of the biggest historical moments in the history of the Swans at the then Liberty Stadium (the Championship playoff semi-final against Nottingham Forest to name but one), but this time I get the chance to finally experience what it’s like to experience a full capacity cauldron of noise, excitement and energy.

Bring it on, I say!

Oh and one other thing, just imagine what it would sound like when the winning goal goes in?

The use of earplugs might be called for, for such a monumental roar.

I’m manifesting it now in my minds eye even as I type this.

Surely a comprehensive win should be the bare minimum for this fixture? It would certainly be a night to remember should the result go our way and the 3 points goes towards pushing us up the league table.

I simply can’t wait. COYS!

It’s looking like it will be the biggest ‘Home’ crowd at the stadium. The biggest overall crowd was v Liverpool was 20,972, that will be hard to beat because of the number of Preston Fans that will be attending & segregation between the West stand and the North.

So yes it will be the biggest turnout of ‘Swansea fans’ at the stadium.

Thanks for the information.

I’m still hoping that the thunderous roar of the crowd will still be a joy to hear, and judging by what you’ve said, it may just trump what was heard on that heady day against Liverpool.👍
