• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

The Preston Party Thread!

It’s looking like it will be the biggest ‘Home’ crowd at the stadium. The biggest overall crowd was v Liverpool was 20,972, that will be hard to beat because of the number of Preston Fans that will be attending & segregation between the West stand and the North.

So yes it will be the biggest turnout of ‘Swansea fans’ at the stadium.
Only if all the season ticket holders who have been absent all season actually turn up. There’s the official attendance and the actual attendance and they’re further apart than ever at the moment.
Maybe they will turn up on Tuesday?

We had better win after all this.
I want blood and tears. Nothing less. A must win 😂. Joking aside, it might not suddenly convert fans into turning up every week, but get a win and it will surely leave those who are new to the club start supporting. No pressure lads 😉

I have a feeling all those seats will be taken for this match, even if it’s not the actual season ticket holder, friends and family will be on the look-out!

When they are gone, they are gone! Last call for tickets together, then we are down to the sporadic singles folks.

If there are only 300 Preston fans I hope the club can enable the segregation is moved to free up some more seats next to WU13 - some seats in NU1 who can then use the West Stand facilities and maybe some more seats in NL2?

Great for the coffers and possible new recruits to our supporter base but also a sad reflection on what supporting your local team is really about to this older f..t

Many moons ago we could only dream of getting 20,000 fans to watch the mighty Swans. I was thrilled with the 8,000 plus crowd we had v Stoke City when Legg scored the worldly v Bruce. We had 7,400 v Carlisle when all the local sport was cancelled over Christmas. Getting 20,000 people through the door is fabulous for the club. We haven’t been promoted for 15 years (8 years in the Prem of course) and have now become stagnant. This marketing is brilliant.

Just been told that Snoop Dogg has paid for a towel to be put on every seat in the stadium.

Not sure why a towel? Supposedly it’s fairly common in American sport?
