I googled the Green Party a couple of days ago and it said they’re expected to do well in Wales.
Oh and the reason I googled the Green Party was because someone on my twitter timeline retweeted Piers Morgan interviewing the leader of the Green Party Zack Polanski and asked him “can a woman can have a penis?”

Of course he replied YES! 😂

My misses has my penis, she lets me use it now and again though.

This might be helpful - if you're of a certain persuasion of course. They've not updated it for May yet, but they will.

(Alternatively, skip past if you think 'man of the people' Nige is the best thing since sliced bread).

Not the way the polls are. Plaid v Reform for largest party.
It's a seismic swing in Wales when you consider the history of Labour and Wales.

I'm just curious if anyone on here is still considering voting for them.

Can the more politically savvy amongst us explain why we can't call an early election in Wales?

The message of despair being bandied about by Drakeford and his gang doesn't make for good reading.

This is the most tedious gotcha question out there.

It’s such an obvious ploy to beat more progressive people with. I find it a shameful tactic.

In the end 99.9% of course it makes no sense. But there’s a very small part of the population who have gender dysphoria.

So ie a populist right winger will of course say “it’s obvious innit” and get the votes over the person who might look at it with a little more thought.

It’s a the route of what is wrong with politics today. This idea everything is an easy answer. There is no room for subtlety.

They’ve taken Wales for granted for too long, been increasingly shown as inadequate, and they are incumbent, which is a terrible place to be just now. They are effectively the equivalent of UK Tories of June 2024. They are on the shit end of the ‘change’ stick.

I’d still take them 100 times out of 100 over the more incompetent facists. That said, Reform running Wales might well kill them as a UK option, when they show how corrupt and shit they are. Not sure I want to be part of that experiment.

I was saying ages ago Labour needed to go in Wales and was bemoaning the Labour man and boy nonsense that exists here.

It obviously continued with the last election but it was time for them to depart the scene. They’ve been in so long now they’re in danger like the tories of oblivion.

They needed to go. This hanging on for dear life through people having an affinity to the old Labour heavy industry days has I believe proved problematic to Welsh labour.

Democracy is pointless without freshening things up. The Scots recognised this and have voted accordingly. Wales has finally caught up and our answer? Reform. Wonderful.

Given that younger people can vote in the next Senedd elections its astonishing that not one party has capitalised on capturing young hearts and minds.

I remember a few years back when lots of young people were hero worshipping Corbyn as though he was the new Messiah (my son was one but, interestingly but not surprising, he's gone full tilt and is now a MAGA man...!,). Can't see anyone attracting the younger voters at all.

Hmm Id suggest they'll be going reform or plaid.

I’m not surprised your son has shifted over the other side. Corbyn was a massive populist against the “elites” - Corbyn was just very very thick and a poor speaker.
