To be fair, if I’d known that mild criticism of someone’s prose (feedback is the engine of self improvement, and all that) ) was going to help fuel the nuclear warheads of Forum missiles, I would have kept my opinion to myself. Oppenheimer I am not. As I said, I wouldn’t do it, as I suffer in a similar vein, and good on him for giving it a go. I AM sorry, if surprised, if what I wrote offended him. I will keep my opinions to myself in future, but I suspect if he wants to pursue that vocation he might suffer a fair bit worse.

So, I am sorry for being such a nasty cowardly internet bully and I accept I should be hunted, tracked down, run to ground and thrashed to within an inch of my life. Alternatively, should I ever meet any of the main protagonists in person I will buy them a pint of lunch in reparations.

Personally I blame not just ECB, but the whole of Clase. always the source of all evil.

Seems fair. Anyway, who is “David Cornish”? Cos that’s clearly not his real name. Or does it not matter who he is, whether he’s some internet bloke writing articles under a pseudonym or some random journo on a sideline. Which seems unlikely tbh. Does it matter? Who cares? Why is it stirring some people’s pot?

I didn't see the thread which kicked this all off, but why would someone from the other site complain to Keith about it, then when Keith issued his statement, the complaining chap then comes back on here to gloat / stir up the shite?

Well at 2.20 this morning I had an abusive illiterate threatening email to an old tiscali email address I don’t use for much and happens to be the email address I used to sign up over there. So much for the moral high ground.

If it really means that much to people they need to take a good hard look at themselves.

There’s a data protection issue there too. ICO may be interested if you can be bothered. Drunk, paranoid, over sensitive people and people’s personal information don’t mix well. Should be nipped in the bud.

I’d imagine very few people have access to that info as well. I didn’t (from what I can remember) when I was a mod over there. So if that’s the case, very, very few people will have access to that info.

Hi chaps, a one off from me. And only because Monmouth made this email he received public. It didn’t come from anyone in Fansnetwork. I’ve put the email below. It doesn’t even reference Swansea City, some one here will have received these types of mail before, they are classed as s extortion emails. I’ve sent Monmouth the link to the sender as well.

Personally I couldn’t care what any of you write on here or anywhere anymore, any reference to Phil or here on swans Independent I’ve agreed to remove. And three moderators will attend to that. We all have lives, and mine is far more productive just administering the website for an hour a day. On the Corny matter, here is his telephone number, 07922 565473, he says text or call me anytime.
