I don’t believe they have any idea what they’ve signed up for and haven’t a clue as to what is going on.
Dalton and all should resign.

This was the initial question.

It's not the comment I'd have gone with, to be fair.

Putting aside that it’s us

Surely in any business if a loan is given with the understanding that it will be converted to shares then the details would be agreed from day 1 and the agreement signed off by the majority, otherwise would it be legal?

They were probably told to do as they are told and sign the deal and to keep their noses out of the Yanks business.

Trust and all it stood for us long gone, dead has a Dodo

I tend to be more of the opinion that they knew exactly what they were signing up for and are utterly complicit.

You are quite correct. The reason the Trust even knew about this agreement is because it had to go to the club board back in 2020.

So is there / was there an agreement that the CLN would be converted by a certain date?

There is a date by which time the loan is repayable, if they are not converted.

The loans are freely convertible on any date until that time.

Is that date known?

Yes

By the trust? Is it protected by NDA?

Yes. No.

Edit - Think it wouldn't be entirely appropriate for me to be the one to give out exact details in this regard. But the Trust has always known all the details about them as were passed at club board level.
