Saw one of these in our back garden a few years ago, never seen one since. I was convinced it was an actual hummingbird, until I googled it, amazing creature.

That's extraordinary, looks like it's been sprayed with hi-vis paint!

There have been rumours recently of a melanistic all black fox being seen on the Somerset Levels. Not sure if they're true though and I doubt it tbh.

Plenty of foxes around so would be not surprised. Seen more in 6 months in Somerset that 18 years in Cheshire. Including feral youths chasing one around a car park in Worle and a couple in WSM town centre. Some Roe Deer on the estate here-seen them at fields on the edge and a doe on some scrubland in the middle yesterday.
Although from Hereford, I'm keen on Black Fox cider!
