I lost two cats in quick succession in suspicious circumstances. One of them even got given a blood transfusion but they couldn’t get him going. :(

Much as I cannot stand the furry little bstrds for shitting all over our lawns and generally using our bird feeders as a sort of feline Carvery, I still admire their beauty and extraordinary talents enormously, and anyone that does this repugnant thing to them are just inhumane cnts.
 
You lot do realise this is highly likely to be a leak from a car radiator don't you?

Cats love antifreeze and if there's a leak in the right place, it'll pool up and won't evaporate for ages. Most of the time it gets washed away with rain. This sort of thing often happens around this time of year when the weather is more settled.

I just can't imagine some cat hating pellet going around the local neighbourhood with a saucer of coolant enticing cats to drink it. Can you?

Quite possible I suppose, but the article quotes a dog being poisoned, haven't seen a dog out roming the streets for year's, to be honest.

Yes cats die from accidental spillage or leaks of anti freeze, but yes I can imagine people doing it deliberately , there have been many cases all over the country and the fact these cats died in the dame area suggests its probably deliberate , the law needs to be changed so sick scum like this get worse punishments

That's a cluster of cases in a small area-accidental poisoning would be sporadic. Looks very suspicious.

A chum of yours once posted he used to tie fireworks to cats tails when he was a lad in Manselton.
 
So, hypothetically speaking, if there was a car parked on the road, with antifreeze happily dripping away (not evaporating off) and the car was left parked there for a significant amount of time because the owner couldn't use it due to it losing coolant, it would be considered sporadic because some cats from out of the area have decided congregate at this point?

Surely it would be the other way around?
