• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

So, hypothetically speaking, if there was a car parked on the road, with antifreeze happily dripping away (not evaporating off) and the car was left parked there for a significant amount of time because the owner couldn't use it due to it losing coolant, it would be considered sporadic because some cats from out of the area have decided congregate at this point?

Surely it would be the other way around?

I think they're onto you Baker, quick get rid of the evidence

Much easier to 'dispose' of cats with a simple medicine you may well have in your cabinet at home. Not that I recommend this.

I lost two cats in quick succession in suspicious circumstances. One of them even got given a blood transfusion but they couldn’t get him going. :(

Sorry to hear that Itchy. I lost mine very unexpectedly 3 weeks ago. I got up to get a drink of water at 1am and found her lying down on the kitchen floor panting and struggling to breathe. She is a house cat and wasn't poisoned but had an underlying condition which the vets said if they put her under anaesthetic she might not make it. Anyway I was about to phone emergency vet and she passed away as I held her.

She was 10 and I rescued her when she was 4. She had a rough couple of years as she had been back to cats protection 3 times previously but settled down really quick when I adopted her. She had her best life with me is my consolation I guess, but it will take a bit of time to get over this. I will adopt again but not just yet. I really miss my friendly ginger furball, she was a great pal.

Baker is a mechanic and the waste he's referring to is antifreeze itself

Same here to Itchy.

Ebo, my cat also came from the cats protection league after his rough start in life (they came out to vet us before allowing us to have him) He also had a heart murmor, had survived cancer and suffered Feline Urinery syndrome (?) and a couple of other complaints. He was euthenised last year aged 17.

So sorry to hear of your losses fellas.

I'm no big fan of cats but they are living breathing beautiful animals and no animals deserve to be treated like that.

Not keen on cats, but no animal should go like this. I make no secret I do experimental work that involves animals. The most important part of this ensuring the welfare of animals and , if needs be, that they are euthanised with minimum pain. Whether accidental or deliberate this is horrendous. My sympathies to those who have lost a loved furry family member

Wasn't a cat person, my wife talked me into getting one a couple of years ago, got two now including a Sphynx who is more like a dog than a cat, both get on great with my two Setters.
Both are house cats, wouldn't be able to sleep if we left them out.
