• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Why are so many scenes in very good television programmes filmed in the dark when there is no need to do it. Just turn the lights on in the room!
And why do people in them use little torches instead of switching the lights on?

Daftys that give it the big one on social media, and then poo themselves when they are given the opportunity to back it up in a private manner. 🤷‍♂️

One thing that's annoying me lately, and that is the Aldi staff, if you ask them where an item is, they give you a look as if you've just pissed over their shoes! Bloody useless, you get more sense out of one of the cleaners in Asda, than the unhelpful GITS at Aldi.

Does the person at the checkout in Aldi ask you if you want a receipt anymore?

I pay with my watch nowadays, technology aye 😀
Bloody hell, I've seen plenty using their phones for contactless payments, but never a watch. That reminds me, I should really link my card upto the phone, just in case I'm ever caught short.

I got caught short recently. My phone was absolutely useless at locating a toilet 🚻.

Sorry if a ferdie but when you pay for a drink with a card at the bar - at least in London - you have to opt out of a tip. What service? They’ve just pulled a pint and I don’t know them from Adam.
