• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Sound on the TV

Every channel and streaming service needs a different number, one second you cant hear any f**ker speak and the next its like being in a Motorhead concert

Where did it go wrong?

I've been eating cheese and crackers.. there's pate there, but that stuff is for the cosmopolitan cockwombles who say "ooh pate"

Those coats/jackets with goggles built into the hoods. What’s that all about?

When your biscuit drops into your tea because you've left it to soak for too long.
Some biscuits are made for dunking, some are incapable of enduring any dunk whatsoever, I recommend changing to something more suitable, like a Hobnob, hard as fvck they are.😁👍💪

Do they work in coffee too?

Funnily enough, those shortbread biscuits, the one's with the tartan wrapping, you can literally leave one of them in a pipping hot cup of tea for ten minutes, and it will still come out rock hard!! 😯

Yes indeed. I do enjoy a shortbread, and they are particularly resilient little buggers, perfect for dunking imho, they are also suitable for coffee too, although tea and shortbread is a perfect combo. 😁👍

A fruit shortcake is my favourite, but they have an abysmal dunk time limit.

Ah yes, the humble fruit shortcake, I think the fruit ruins the structural integrity of the biscuit, thus rendering it incapable of holding a liquid for long periods, nice though. 😋👍
