Dundee United are set to lose their academy chief Andy Goldie to Swansea City.

Goldie will move to Wales to take up the academy manager role with the English Championship outfit next month.

The youth supremo has headed up the Tannadice academy over the past three years.

It has been a mainstay of the United model that saw them claim a European place with 16 academy graduates, including Ross Graham, Kieran Freeman and Archie Meekison.

United sporting director Tony Asghar thanked Goldie for his services.
