• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

That kind of surprises me but at the same time it doesnt. The difference this year feels to be that we have been in control of most games where our results in the first 6 games last season were from games where we were second best for large periods (Preston home, Leeds away are good examples of this)

Be interesting to see the difference in 3 and 6 more games as I think this year we will then be significantly ahead.

Not a surprise we had a good start last year but then our form went into a serious dip until after Christmas when we signed brewster on loan and started scoring again. Hopefully we won't have such a large dip as we have a lot of players chipping in with goals.

Interesting if somebody could put a results comparison together Vs last season.
We drew Vs Preston last year away, won this year
Won Vs Birmingham home last year, drew this year
Drew against Hull away last year, beat Wycombe away this year
Lost against Millwall home, won this year
Won against Huddersfield home, lost this year
Won away at Charlton, drew at Coventry this year
Drew at Bristol City, drew this year
Lost at home to Stoke, won this year
Drew at home to Blackburn, won this year

6 points better Vs last season not that it's significant but shows improvement.

Last year felt like a cup run though. This year we are looking good for our wins and I feel the squad can still give a bit more.
