My wife and I buy and wear one every year, we don't keep it on religiously, but we're more than happy to buy one at least for no other reason than to recognise the sacrifices those that served made, we'd be living differently if they hadn't made those sacrifices, assuming that we'd be here of course.
If you haven’t got one on the lamp post outside your house you’re a traitor.
 
The whole poppy outrage thing amuses me no end.

It's like saying if you don't dress up as Santa in December, you're not a true Christian.

There are villages that have had giant poppies on lamp posts for many years.
