• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

I have absolutely no doubt at all that the two women in question will have only told the newspapers half a story to make themselves the victims

There is a more than equal chance of the newspaper writing the story in the way it wants to.

Not an area of expertise, so I will not argue the point. Perhaps she could see if her GP could write a letter for her stating that? If it's vital for someone's mental health, then reasonable exceptions have to be made.

You're definitely not speaking from experience there

GP's are getting better but they definitely aren't going against the government narrative on this one.

I just think they got caught at a popular place for walkers at a time where the Police were bored or being pressured but external forces. Most law enforcement officers would have been more understanding.

No, I'm lucky that my mental health has always been good (long term PS posters are free to disagree).

I tend to agree though with what Phil says above. Seeing as they've approached the media themselves, I doubt we've been given the full story.

It's kind of shocking to see what we are becoming.

You're right. It's shocking how many people are blindly believing what they are told by certain people and find themselves unwilling/unable to change their point of view, even when the evidence is right in front of them.

You would think the topic was about an illegal rave or party, hundreds of people there.. NO just 2 friends meeting up at a beauty spot, the rules are ludicrous .

Whoosh!

If you read the thread, think you'll see the majority of posters think that the police response was OTT.

Yup. The number of people willing to pretend the virus doesn’t exist because it terrifies them while at the same time refusing to be vaccinated because they believe it’s all part of some global mind control conspiracy is mental. They also at the same time moan about restrictions to their freedom to do things they’ve never bothered doing before. You can draw a straight line between those people and those who are still claiming without any plausible evidence that the election was stolen from Trump and who believe that Wednesday’s attempted coup by Trump and his supporters was actually a left wing antifa/BLM false flag operation to set up Trump and his fanboys.

So what is the difference meeting your friend in a nice place like say Mumbles, and having a chat, compared to Lidls car park in penlan, on the premise you are there to do shopping?

No doubt in your mind, you think the reason for the position we are in now, is because of people like this.. You seem to be the kind of person glued to the BBC and believing any guff they spout.

Ive made no comment on the people in the article. I don’t care.
