• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

There so many geniuses on here who think the problem is our three at the back formation. Well here's a few counter points.

You think Naughton can play as a centre half in a back four?

Someone claimed on another post that Bidwell was better in a back four than as a wing back. Disagree. What about those times he'd be at the far post to score from right wing crosses.

If anything I believe Manning is more suitable as a left back in a back four. Look at how bad we've been with him at wing back instead of playing him as a LCB in a back three.

In a nut shell I don't think our problem is the formation. I think it's personnel.

Our centre backs especially is a case of quantity over quality.

We are fucked when it comes to choosing the best RCB. We haven't got anyone other than Naughton who can play the sweeper role for the moment and Manning is the only one I've been impressed with in the LCB position.

Martin does need to bring in players to improve this. But he still doesn't help himself when he picks Joel at left wing back instead of Kyle Joseph.

Nonetheless I'm getting seriously pissed off with the toxic knee jerk idiots on here and at the home games.

Like it or not Martin is the manager so he chooses the team. It was also pretty clear to me that he won't give in and ditch the three at back formation so stop whining.
