• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

If you’re not dining properly up there, there’s a cracking food stall which does hot baguettes of every description you can think of, nicest street grub over ever had. It’s in amongst the temporary Christmas market stalls. It’s not the wooden market stall, so you’ll see the difference if you do go.
The Christmas market stalls are different class up there, I'll keep and eye out for there hot baguettes and will report back.

Thanks for the tip 🫶🏼

I've made a chilli con carne, to be accompanied by boiled potatoes (much prefer em to rice with chili), washed down with a glass of rosado.
Then off to Pego for a pre match pint with mates in the Paseo before cheering on 'Los Rojos'.

We should have gone up last weekend but didn't cause we were going to Mrs nieces 30th so popped to Bridgend for me to sample a few Proper Job ales came back and decided not to go to party, usually go to Cardiff just be before Christmas its a decent day out apart from the train journey.
Was going to Mumbles yesterday, but that didn't happen due to one of the staff who was coming here to look after youngest went down with Covid :(

We tend to go up every year and stay the night, it's become a bit of a tradition of ours.

Sorry to hear your jaunt to the Mumbles didn't go ahead. 🫶🏼

Chilli with spuds is an interesting twist I’ve never considered. I’ll give that a go.

Looked at doing that last Saturday but it was far to expensive everywhere for just one night, ridiculous.

Where you staying?
Managed to book us in to the Premier inn (the stadium one, which isn't anywhere near the stadium).

I booked it a while back and got the room for a decent price.

Being a Sunday probably helps with the price as well.
