It's redundant now the game's off, but fancying their chances because we were well beaten by the best team in the country who had won 14 games in a row before Wednesday? That would be as dull as Brentford fans thinking the PL is easy because they beat Newcastle in the EFL cup.

I can understand being encouraged by their own form, but the Man City game would have had zero bearing on the game tomorrow.

I don’t like having games in hand, if Delia’s lot win tomorrow we are 5 points off automatic promotion and it’s psychological even if we’ll have 2 games in hand. We have to get 6 points from the games in hand get back in the autos. If they drop points tomorrow though that’s a different story...........!!
As for Sheffield Wednesday, if their under soil heating is broken and they ain’t getting fixed they should concede the game, 3 pts and 3-0 win to the Swans !!

Yes, massively disappointing. The inevitable drop in the table will only affect the players psychologically if they let it. Didn't affect Brentford, so Cooper needs to point that.
