Trump Suing The BBC

Yes, I have read the articles saying he hasn’t got a chance. We will see on that, looks like standard litigation BS to me, anyway the only point on this I’m concerned about is if he does win, who should pay, because the license payer’s money should not be touched.

So the opinion of every expert in defamation law who’s been interviewed is that he has no chance and you think he does?

Meanwhile, a load of Epstein related stuff has been released in the last day or so and all those who spend most of their lives saying their FIRST THOUGHT is for women and children and BRITAIN FIRST are hoping Trump gets an award of several billion from the UK public purse?

Was just looking at the footage. Bloody horrendous. As someone who was flooded in 2021 I can completely understand what those poor people are going through. Just awful. They’re worried about the Wye tonight as well.

Trump is a total cunt but if he said 2+2=4 people would say he’s wrong quite simply because they don’t like him.
What the BBC,one of the greatest institutions in the history of Great Britain has done here is utterly atrocious and anybody sticking up for them on this one clearly isn’t being honest or helping the situation.
I hope it’s settled amicably but the BBC deserve all they get on this one,this is not The Sun or the Daily Mail this is the BBC and the thought that they’ve edited an interview to make someone,anyone say something they never said is beyond all comprehension to me.

It’s taken everyone by surprise. I sometimes have a lunchtime drink in the Robin Hood. They’ll be crushed. The only crumb of comfort is that that the damage will be mostly retail from what I’ve seen so far. Not many ground floor residential, but I don’t know if there’s occupancy above some of the shops.

Every expert in defamation law you say, please stop you just made me laugh so loud, I really don’t get you, my initial post is mainly why should the BBC licence payer’s foot the bill if Trump succeeds in his legal action, but for some reason you are trying to spin my post into some right wing conspiracy post.
