I think the NL should be regionalised. I would combine the NL and both NL north and south and have three leagues below the EFL having league structure of a north central and south feeding into a promotion to the EFL.

Knowing our luck if we were in the same league our away fixture would be on a Tuesday evening.

Truro is a lovely part of the world.

Does seem a crazy amount of travelling, even if the NL is all full time these days.

Personally I’d even go a league higher and make League 2 and the National League a Tier 4 North & South with 2 promotion places each into League 1.

There’d be an issue with finances if you’re increasing the size of the EFL but you’d imagine attendances (away especially) would increase with more local matches.

In terms of quality I don’t think there’s much difference between the two league, crowds are generally on a par (barring a handful of clubs either way) with so many ex league clubs in the National League (and below) so I don’t think you’re diluting anything there.

Competitive wise there’s the slight issue if all 4 relegated teams are from the North/South for the next season but that’s the case wherever the pyramid becomes regionalised.

Was on the North Side this weekend-nice couple of days in a cabin near Portreath. Got the train into St Ives from St Erth and a very pleasant day on Saturday.

I used to manage a team based in Truro, any excuse to visit and I was gone. I love the place and it's people.

lovely part of the Country spent a few weeks down that way , Newquay and near Falmouth.....out of peak season obviously , and had a few of the giant pasties,........now wheres my booking form.
our g/daughters in St Ives this week,

We had a wonderful holiday in Cornwall with our family and visited many places around there.
Beaches are on a par with Wales, especially a few of the more remote ones. I’d recommend Cornwall as a holiday destination for anyone, lots of places to see and plenty of stuff for kids too. Our granddaughter especially enjoyed the Paradise Park wildlife centre not far from St Ives and the Blue Reef Aquarium at Newquay.

I've been to Truro as an away fan. Brilliant trip. 10 hour round journey by train. A 4-4 draw. The Black Rat cider was flowing in their clubhouse....

I got knocked over the bonnet of a Ford Focus on way back from the ground and ended up in a hedgerow. Still only vaguely remembered it when informed the next day asking about my cuts and bruises. Woman driver was horrified and upset, I was obviously made of rubber and grinning like a Cheshire cat.

Football away trips eh? If our wives only knew the half of it...

I think the beaches of Pembrokeshire, Ynys Mon and the Lleyn are nicer. But the towns in Cornwall have more about them. More good places to eat, better shops and more to see. We had a truly exceptional lunch in St Ives on Saturday.
