That's a great piece Uxy.

By the way, I've noticed that the March 2022 Trust Board Minutes state in the Membership Appendix that "Membership numbers have remained stable despite some resignations following the announcement of the legal case settlement."

No mention of exact number of members despite them having given actual membership numbers in the previous 3 months minutes.

Thank you!

Yes. I noticed that. I also noticed the comment made in previous missives that there had been an influx of members after the settlement agreement. One can only speculate if the two things are related.

There’ll be no more tenners from me. Sell outs shat on Trust and current Trust Board did the same to the members. The former did it for financial advantage. What the motive of the Trust Board was is anyone’s guess.

Excellent read Sad though too say that the Trust doesn't stand for what I believe it stood for all those years ago. Times change but it's now just a shadow

Jobs for the boys now Clive,Directors Boxes and jolly’s forever.

Been happening for years hidden in plain view

Absolutely and anyone that’s read Planet Swans over the last few years will now I’ve been staunch against it but this lot are different especially in the way that I see these board members being there for a long time because there’s not really any hard work to do and they can enjoy the fun whilst having their bellies tickled.

It’s ok 23/24 season tickets will include trust membership. They’ll just build it into the cost

The problem with the trust is in the name, they no longer have it.

Excellent, well written piece Andy
I know we've had our debates and disagreements but at least you tried to answer points I raised. As did the majority of the old board members through the years.

That AGM(??? Really?) was beyond a joke .
None of the legal/ accounting/ actual board members could answer any of the questions, once they'd passed the "what day is it?" stage
If the 2 legal clowns had been representing me, I'd have tried to do a deal myself and pleaded guilty in the hope of a better defence
Like rabbits in the spotlamp the lot of them.
Did absolutely nothing to even try and answer the (in some cases) bleedin obvious questions they should have discussed prior to signing the deal.

I'm sad
After all the years, including when it was a, freebie, of investing in a Trust, solely to try and prevent the likes of Petty getting near the club again, I won't be renewing next season.
This current board has completely gone against the membership by having no further consultation prior to signing what appears to be a bad deal for the future of our club

Certainly as far as my little comprehension understands (complete lack of honesty/ communication ensures that) the club's owners (no-one seems to know who they actually all are) could actually sell to Petty and his minions and the Trust can do nothing, not even sell their own shares if the owners stop them from doing so.
Our club now seems to have no guardian as far as the fans are concerned

Yea agreed. The sale and deception had ultimately rendered the trust impotent and barely relevant in its form especially with the lack of dialogue with the owners. The case and previous boards at least tried to salvage a future for the trust. The current board has meekly surrendered it. With the agreements they've signed and them being in good graces with the owners (as well as the deception) I have no confidence that they'll be updating fans with truthful information without the owners spin on it. So they've not only surrendered the status as a meaningful shareholder, the status as a Supporters trust has gone too. Sorry but I don't see this bunch holding the owners to account or exposing bad practice. They've had my last membership fee too.

They don't even open the pod thing by stadium, they are crooks of the highest order and should never step foot in the Liberty Stadium ever again.

I'm reliably informed that this is not correct, and that the pod is open before game. How close to kickoff I don't know though.

It was definitely open at 1:45pm on Saturday.

It wasn't at 2.30pm when most people are milling around the ground.

Yeah by 2.30 they are up in the box sipping bubbly and getting noshed off by the chair man on behalf of the owners.
