The greatest ever game of short form cricket?
Twenty years seems crazy! I remember it like it was yesterday, we hadn’t long come back from holiday in South Africa, there was sleet and snow outside and I barely moved from the sofa all day. It later came out that Herschelle Gibbs has been out on the lash the night before.

It was certainly a revolutionary game and it was astonishing watching it at the time. But the greatest ever limited overs international was the 2019 World Cup final.

That’s another one where I didn’t move from the sofa.

I see your Herschelle Gibbs, and raise you Sir Vivian Richards 138 off 157 balls v England at Lords in 1979.

Rewind, I see now you meant game not innings Coops. Me bad 😔
Gibbs was 175 from 111, incredible scoring. That Viv innings was before my time, I’ll go back and see if there are YouTube highlights of it.
