• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Two misjudgments ruined the game

You watched that performance last night and think it was the referee that ruined the game!? 🤣

Partly. Although Duff was not suitable for swans, I don't want to lose to the swimming team.

The gulf in class between the 2 sides was staggering… we were lucky it was only 2-0, it could easily have been worse.

The worst Swans performance I’ve seen in years and you pick up on refereeing decisions… just seems odd.

Surely you can’t argue that the result wasn’t fair?

Yates was also hauled to the ground inside the box. But we'd have found a way to lose even if those decisions had gone for us

I admitted that the swimming team was better than us. We exposed a lot of problems. I really shouldn't have picked on the referees in the long run. But the game goes to the team with the more goals, not the team with the better performance, and in this case, the referee's misjudgments allowed the swimming team to steal two points.

Maybe :(

The first goal looks onside and even though the penalty infringement started outside the box, it just about carried on into the box. That makes it a penalty according to the laws

The first misjudgment was appointing Coleman and the second was appointing Duff

Don’t think the first goal was offside, penalty may have been outside the box but to be honest it was completely irrelevant by that point since we were never going to score. Anyway no point blaming the referee when we played as badly as we did.

Change the record you melt.

Beaten by the better team on the day. Except it!
Fair play, reading online a lot of Jack’s have said “weren’t up to it, and better team won on the day.”
That’s the fact of it!
