• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Backed up last weeks win over the scum with a comfortable 3-1 beating of QPR taking them up to 3rd in the league with 2/3 games in hand over the 2 above them. A hatrick for Mitchell Bates. Well done YJB.

Seem to have some very promising youngsters coming through. We still have the two guys (popham and the other) who were tracked by Man City last year too

How far off is the quality of the league our u21s play in compared to the main u21 league that man city ect play in?

Is it a big drop off?

Listend to respected Scottish football pundit Hugh Keevins on Clyde 1 tonight saying, "Swansea City are going to have one hell of a side next season with Cameron Congreve tearing it up at Dundee and Filip Lissah tearing it up at Falkirk."

Discounting "Trailist " which i think is a combination of several trailists then Mitchell Bates is now the top scorer in the 2 PDL leagues.
Mitchell Bates was released last summer, its his brother Morgan Bates that scored v QPR last night.

To add to last night's game at Landore Morgan Bates scored a hat-trick, the third from the spot, to place the Swans into third place on 32 points with three games in hand and six points behind leaders Brentford.

Wonder if we'll see a few of the U21s in the senior squad towards the end of the season? The one benefit of having nothing to play for is the opportunity it offers for the kids to get minutes
