• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

It will be fitting for the only goal of the game to have matched the general quality on show.

A good advert for what the Premiership is like when you’re not in the top 6

One of the two managers would have been looking at an unmitigated disaster of a season, they finished 16th and 17th in the league but both somehow made it to the Europa League final - one of them gets to play Champions League football next season and the other will be facing some very uncomfortable questions from the owners.

Cracking save at the end to keep United out in stoppage time, can't say that Spurs were the better team but that was far from champagne football.

Its mental to think that if it wasn't for the bottom three being so piss poor that Spurs who finished under 40pts might have been relegated and playing Champions League football while in the Championship

I hate both clubs and sets of supporters. I suppose I hate Plastic Manks a bit more, so that's the best of a bad job. Even shite teams are in the CL now so winning that pile of crap is easier than finishing top 5.

I suppose Spurs have put the ignominy of not having won a major trophy since before we won ours behind them...

I’ll tell you what.

As much as I dislike Spurs, it’s lovely to see Son lift a trophy.

A wonderful, wonderful player.

I did wonder what Harry Kane must be thinking watching Son lift the trophy, but then I remembered he's probably still celebrating the Bundesliga title, so I doubt he's that bothered...

Spurs scoring first was the worst possible outcome for neutrals. They may be crap, but they are good enough to shut down the game against another crap team like United. Lots of fouls, faking injuries, they're good at all that and gave United barely anything (the fact the closest United came to scoring was from a goalkeeper mistake was fitting).

If United had scored first, it may actually have become an entertaining game, because they have no ability at all to close a game down.

Let's hope Betis v Chelsea is a better game than that. United flop Antony to play brilliantly and score the winning goal, you heard it here first.
