Get well soon Mrs Clase

Barely a sniffle so far. Only tested cos my sister tested positive and she was with her the other day.

Well either way I hope all is well in Clase Towers!

First game I’ve watched this season. Thought we were pretty decent and good value for the win. I was planning on actually going to a game next week but the wife has the Rona (AGAIN!!) so it depends in whether I find myself riddled.

Lock her in the bedroom for a few days mun!!

Women get very angry when you do that when you let them out. Your dog on the other hand would be delighted to see you in similar circumstances.

Proof that your dog loves you more than your wife.

The big positive is the three points and a W in the results column, this will do wonders for confidence. Much work still to do though and as good as we were at certain times of the first half, the second forty five mins was a bit of a stinker.

Still too much football kamikaze going on in our defensive third of the pitch, and the need for a WB or two is once again evident.

I’m left to wonder about the Joe Allen situation; he had thirty odd mins in midweek and needs minutes on the pitch, and yet we are unlikely to have seen him today had the score remained 0-0. What’s the plan, RM?

If we were to lose Piroe, which we will, and do no further business in terms of incomings, what’s a good season and acceptable for Martin?

For me, it’s staying up, and bringing through 2/3 academy graduates.
