Of course, but I do feel what Iran did to its own people has been forgotten by the media, something needed to be done after that, but Trump has gone in like a bull in a china shop.

I know mate, and I have considered that many times. I know it’s a hard thing to look at another country and judge them on their values and rules, but I think when another country seems and is out of control, do we all just step back and say it’s their business?

UK has enough problems of its own, so as the US concentrate on our own country and worry about another country if they become a threat, not act and turn them into a threat to us, all very well pre-empting a threat, but there wasn't one, like I said I think Trump was was lead into this war by Netanyahu and Trump being Trump jumped in with both feet and now he can't finish the war or end it by peaceful means, the longer it goes on the more its gonna escalate and that's the worry.

I think I'm pretty fine with that statement. If a country is doing that to it's own people, it needs to be stopped, not the way Trump has gone about it.

How many lost their lives in Afghanistan in order to crush the odious Taliban?

No doubt mate, I would like to think USA entered this War just to stop the oppression of Iranian citizens, but no doubt with Israel involved as well, there is a bigger gameplan going on here. Oil maybe? But yes I agree about the escalation, the strait of hormuz, seems a particular sticky point. Nobody wants to see that, when you think about it Trump is a standing joke around the world, yet no other person in power in any country can step in, and say wind your neck in son?, nobody at all.. crazy.

No doubt mate, I would like to think USA entered this War just to stop the oppression of Iranian citizens, but no doubt with Israel involved as well, there is a bigger gameplan going on here. Oil maybe? But yes I agree about the escalation, the strait of hormuz, seems a particular sticky point. Nobody wants to see that, when you think about it Trump is a standing joke around the world, yet no other person in power in any country can step in, and say wind your neck in son?, nobody at all.. crazy.

It's sad mate, it seems the West are always spoiling for a fight in the Middle East. How many more years will these wars go on for? No doubt long after everyone reading this has turned to dust. I always think, one of the most beautiful places on Earth, Weather wise, Beauty wise, yet it's always a bloody war zone, since I have been alive.

The west were never gonna win in Afghanistan, to many lives were lost as it was we could easily still be out there fighting now, with many many more body bags coming back to Wooten Bassett, Politian's don't care its not them or their siblings putting their lives on the line ending up dead or losing limbs.
Wars are never really worth it, lives are precious and far to short for many without the loss of lives for pointless wars, it was obviously different with the two World Wars of course, but what was achieved by the war's in Iraq and Afghanistan very little in my opinion.

How many more years will it take us to learn? I remember back in the mid 70's yawning in my History class, when learning about wars, and thinking, that was a thing of the past.

But here we are now, and nothing really has changed, Ukraine, Middle East. I wonder in 100 years will kids in school, be looking back at us, and frowning, did we do wrong as a whole society? I think we have,.
