Rushworth would make more sense, he's only 23 and could actually be good enough to play for a lower-half PL team. United may need him given the clangers their first two keepers have dropped this season.

Based on the current performance of Ute's current keepers he could be in with a shout at being their number one

Number 3 though. he must feel confident that he can make his mark to go in at number 3 choice. I mean this is not the man utd of the past, the club still holds weight in some players eyes and influence choices. I don't blame him as an opportunity to play for a previous top team cannot be overlooked but, at what cost?
