Saw his earlier put up by someone called Helen Roberts , hope she doesn’t mind me sharing.

I went on the train a few times, but saw them regularly as the depot was very close to my junior school, St. David’s.

I, too, have quite vivid memories of many trips on the Mumbles Train in the mid-50s, a fantastic experience at that age.
 
Did anyone have one of these in their home?
We had a very similar version, slightly smaller and not so high. Looking at the toasting fork on the left hand side reminds me of the best toast ever using one of those over the open fire.😋
