Is this Vipotnik turning point? Will the club sell him, is it too late? Do you want him to stay or go?

2 goals and 1 assist in three league appearances

He quite rightly got pelters for his piss poor uninterested performance in the first round of the cup. Today was his best performance for us since he signed for us a year ago, would be madness to sell when he finally seems to be turning a corner.

If it’s not too late and we can convince him to stay he needs to stay. From the sounds of it he got fed up with Cullen getting the spot over him
He wasn't the only one (and I appreciate Cullen more than most on here). Running is good for a striker, scoring goals is better.

I could be wrong but I think it's 3 league appearances. I don't think he featured in the Sheffield United game.

All his criticism towards him has been justified to some extent. I'm not saying he is suddenly perfect but what more does the club want? They pretty much told him to show us what you have. He seems to be a player who needs that competition - push. I have 0 issue if we bring in another striker, so that it keeps the competition for that striker plage even better
Where Wales comes into things I don't know.

I have always been a believer that there is player in Vipotnik and would like to see the 23yr old stay.

Another question, do people want to see Adam Idah replace Vipotnik? I think that's a solid and reasonable question.

I would be happier if we kept VIP, moved on from Idah and went for Moussa Sylla.

I'm not saying the criticism he faced has been unjustified, but at the same time what opportunity has he had for a sustained run in the side and not feeding off scraps of game time and even less opportunities with the ball at his feet since he joined the club?

If we play to his strengths rather than try to make him something he is not then we will get twenty goals out of him easy. The boy has lead in his boots, I can't remember the last player I have seen who can leather the ball like he can for quite some time. He also showed today that he can show a bit of guile, the disguised pass to Ronald was perfect and he sprayed a few good first time passes out wide looking to get our wingers isolated against their fullbacks.

Bingo.

Agree with this - flexible on the right wing too

He had a good run of games and minutes under Sheehan when he was appointed last season, but he was certainly feeding off scraps at the time.

I was firmly in the 'give him a run of games' camp at the start of the season, wobbled a little after the Crawley game, now I'm firmly back on board with him.

Agree. Either way, we need to add another striker not replace. I said it before is it too late? Has the club already got in mindset he is going? Has Vipotnik? Maybe he is playing to get a transfer?
