• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Way to early to come to the conclusion that he is a great player after one game, but I always said that we cannot accurately judge the strikers we have with the level of service they have had up to this point.

Having players around him made such a difference, his 1-2 with Franco in the 2nd half showed everything that we want from him. Hold up play, control and playing in a player running beyond him.

Denied two goals by what to be honest was fantastic last ditch defending from Blackburn and should have had an assist if Cullen had worn his shooting boots in the first half

Compared to the walking football he was forced to endure under Williams with not a single other player within 30 yards of him it was night and day from his usual service

Thought he was decent, far more involved in the game, but decent strikers would have been on the end of that ball across the box from Peart Harris in the second half.

He was much more involved today, obviously down to our more direct play.

Defender got a toe to it which took it off him

Don't think anyone is saying he's great but that was his best game for us, one obvious reason for that
Thought the team as a whole played well, on the front foot for all the game. Franco and O'brien in midfield were brilliant.

He was good today, looked sharper. He needs players around him, at times under Williams he was so isolated I felt for him. Credit to Franco and O’Brien who were both fantastic today too.

Best game for us, his involvement in mphs goal was low key excellent holding back the centre back.

Still plenty more to come, he very nearly messed up his goal by basically miskicking it straight at the keeper and if he'd dived in for mphs cross he'd have had a brace.

In our new global sourcing model we trust - it’s all about balance, the right balance of Stats-Eyeball-Stats to secure the right talent at the right time, at the right price.

It’s clear our new owners are doing their darndest to kick on to the new next level…..

It’s also beyond doubt that our new owners acted most decisively in purging us of the Menacing Martin-Williams Malaise, rot and toxicity.
