Wimbledon and Charlton will be sharing £10,000 for each day he’s away at the World Cup.
Not sure how much they paid for him, but I’m sure that will cover it.

Only three more teams for Europe though and we’re getting towards the end of our most successful period. No guarantees that we’ll be back any time soon.

That’s why I fully intend to enjoy this one and not whinge about who is and isn’t in the squad. We’ve lived through a golden age in Welsh football and this World Cup is both the pinnacle and probably the end of it. So enjoy it while it’s there.

I genuinely can’t think of any others, apart from Rushesha who doesn’t seem to be anywhere near first team football. I guess you could take Beck to cover LWB and switch Williams to RWB if Connor gets crocked.

Looks like the selection of Jonny Williams has caused a lot of doubts .

Page seems to say it is a loyalty and good for team morale selection , can you carry one passenger in a squad of 26 who will only be used as a so called impact player , if he is good in the changing room pre game and does not throw tantrums at not being picked and backs the team all the way , yes take him .

Read somewhere Peter Crouch had so many teams in his career , many managers wanted him in their squad .
He might have been a bit of an allsorts type of player , but said to be a great asset off the field too .

I don't think Page is a very good manager either Skip. My point was that if 3 of our best players don't perform, no manager would get the team through the group stage.

What he means it's we should of signed him but not played him to keep him safe from injury. It was always a mistake for us to resign Allen, hell give us the square root of fuck all in terms of football.

He lost a fair bit of respect in my eyes yesterday. Not only because he didn't pick an in form Cooper and picked the likes of Colwill (zero starts this season and not fit) and J Williams (playing in league 2), but his comments.

Sounded childish and petulant. Why cause aggro now. His comment about Cooper not playing when he came to watch is was just silly. Doesn't he have other scouts? Whys he only tried to watch one of Wales most on form and promising players once?

Just bizarre.
