Wales v Poland

Could now be the right time to get Cooper in charge. His time with the English youngsters went well. Get him before some non descript PL/EFL club does.

Form wise Finland were probably a bigger challenge than Poland, we blew Finland away with our pace and played all around them, they couldn't live with us.

So to change tack and base our approach last night to accommodate a lumbering, cumbersome Moore is inexcusable, and played right into Polands hands.

Time to cut Page loose...

Exactly pal, plenty can see the same. Does make you think WTAF was Page thinking.?

Spot on.

Every time he's been backed into a corner and ends up in a must win situation he's gone back to hit it long to big Kieffer Moore. He's got no tactical ingenuity at all.

Which means we have more years of the uninspiring Gunter by his side.

The FAW quote isn't exactly a ringing endorsement though is it:

Williams said: "The FAW can confirm Rob Page is their manager for the forthcoming campaign in accordance with his contract.

"Rob is the manager. His contract runs to the end of the World Cup and that is how we continue to work."

He is the manager 'in accordance with his contract', gives off chairman's vote of confidence vibes.

Delaying the inevitable.

A bad start to WC qualifying and they'll end up sacking him in autumn, losing valuable time that a new coach could use over the next few months to put his stamp on things with nations league etc.

Noel Mooney's setup is beginning to remind me of the ramshackle lot we had in charge during the 90s.

Was interesting to see Ramsay stay on the bench. He was more than happy to try play the hero down here, isn't he capable of taking a pen then ?

Missed Brooks massively, pity he was ill, never looked right coming on and looked even worse when he came off, hope he's ok.

We were stifled with Moore up, took the pace we showed against Finland right out of our game, I blame Page for that with his cautious tactic's. Massive opportunity missed, that said we did have a go and looked like the only team that wanted to win the game in 90mins.

Need to put this disappointment behind them and move forward into the next qualification campaign.

Anyone see any swans / scum trouble? Seen a few tweets alluding to it but didn't see anything myself.

No trouble at all but some Bellends in Wales tops about early 20's in Cornwall pub singing anti Swans songs, soon got told to shut the fuck up
