• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Slovakia are no slouches, especiallt when you see other teams in a playoff sticking 9 past the opposition, the tie will sharpen them ahead of the Republic game.

Home first game, has to be a win.

Ireland beat France 3-1 in qualifying.. so it's going to be a tough ask

How the fvck did the ref have to "ASK" VAR to check for offside??

If there'd been contentious decisions that could have benefitted Slovakia, UEFA would have a right mess on their hands. Looks like the ref only realised VAR was in use in the 114th minute when the Wales players / coaches kicked off because that offside was obviously on.

Women's football. 😴😴😴😴 Bloody everywhere. I tried looking for Championship results the other day on BBC site. Had to scroll through 20 Women's stories before i came close. And they have their own page. Men's football doesn't. Explain the sexism and equality in that before anyone calls me anything.

Grow up.

That Emmeline Pankhurst has a lot to answer for...

Is that it?
Yeah. I've put my point of view on the subject. You didn't like it, and, rather than offer your own pov, you just take up the insulting stance, which I find comical. I come on here to have debates about the Swans not have slanging matches.

I had absolutely no issue with women's football and was quite into it about 2011. When all and sundry began to shove it down my throat, at a lot of times at the expense of Championship, L1 and L2 teams (non league teams, with the exception of Hollywood up North, practically don't exist in the Media), I object to it and it annoys me. No issues with female commentators. Apart from the irritating one with the put on voice they are as good, some better than their male counterparts. I don't mind the female analysis although I would rather hear from someone who played in L1 on a Tuesday night at Stockport against 2 brick shithouse centre backs than someone who played on a Sunday afternoon in front of 800. (Yes, I know some games are now getting very good attendances). Perhaps if the Swansea Ladies played for us we'd be playing better and scoring more than zero goals a month 😁

Not a slanging match, far from it, just me calling you out on a behaviour that isn't needed.

You mentioned that you found it tedious scrolling through a few articles about the Welsh Women doing well. I told you to grow up, if you didn't like my response, just ignore me.

You have no issue with women's football yet you object to it and it annoys you?

Fair play you don't half go on. And I'm replying as you've not only got what I said wrong but made an attempt at calling me sexist.
I will REPEAT, I object to it being shoved down my throat not the fucking game itself. In much the same way as I object to the constant adverts asking for donations on various Sky channels. Again, I don't object to the charities but not rammed down my throat constantly.
Have you got any pictures, and chuffed about it, with any female footballers ? I'll leave it at that.

You'll be burning your underpants in protest next.
