We could only have dreamt of that in the past!

Good stuff! Would be nice to get a home tie against one of the weaker teams - Scotland or Macedonia I'd be confident of beating. Think we need a big win tomorrow or a draw against Belgium for that, at least they've already qualified so might rest a few players.

Some would say we've earned it 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Yep.

Winning 5 out of 6 games (and drawing the other) against Finland, Ireland and Bulgaria is what got them the playoff spot.

Whether you like that teams can earn World Cup playoff spots through the Nations League or not, it certainly wasn't achieved 'without playing a game'.

This in spades. I did think a short while back that even as Bale and Ramsey come to the end of their careers we had another crop coming through in Wilson, James, Brooks and Ampadu etc.

It's looking likely they're not going to be anywhere near the former's levels and we'll be looking for a new talisman for a while.

Bale is the greatest Welsh sportsman of all time , him and Ramsey along with the others have given us a wonderfull few years , hopefully we can have enough good players to compete in the future but make no mistake , for Welsh football fans these have been the halcyon days

Obviously people will have their own opinions on it but for me I can't think who could be above bale , Gareth Edwards would be the choice of many but rugby is tiny compared to football, rugby is a british commonwealth sport plus France

Coventry City v Swansea City
