Summer transfer targets Joe Low and Richard Kone.. Low is slower than Cabango and keeps getting dragged into a foot race and Wilks (who's sh*te) had him on toast.. Kone is a bit better, but is the type of forward who needs service, but he's not worth the 5-10 million they want.. I'd rather stick with Vipotnik and get a creative player in.. it's only one match, but If it's on this viewing, I'd stay well clear

Low suprises me as a lot of hype was spoken about him when we was linked. Maybe we will change strategy with Coleman and Co gone and Montague looking on with fresh pov

Probably because Lowe is Welsh, then again the reports on him are decent and you can’t really judge a player on one game.

Guess with Low is about development. Would a good coach get him to a good level..

Hannes I think would be a good option especially as he can cover LB

I watched a game shortly after we we're linked and thought the same. He seemed to lump the ball aimlessly too.

Other people on here seemed to think he was excellent and was passing comfortably with both feet, i thought i'd watched the wrong player. Delcroix looks a better player, doubt he would cost much either.

Chances are, we will need 2 centre halves so if we stay in this league then I would happily take Low as the 3rd choice centre half.

Hannes would take another one of the few foreign national slots (don’t think he would meet the criteria for a WP?) so I can understand the need to be looking for a uk national, perhaps not Low by the sounds of it though...

Doesn't Ped. Myklo and Toe leaving not free up spaces?

I think the context is important in this assessment. Most of the rumours and thoughts on both of these was before 14th January. The opinions were mainly formed in the period where Wycombe, led by Matt Bloomfield had been riding high at the top of league one. Then he left.

Since Mike Dodds has come the team doesn't seem to have hit it's stride. I have no idea whether that is coaching or tactics etc. But I wouldn't be surprised if this is a big part of why they looked how they looked last night
