• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

It shows a complete lack of self awareness on the part of Watson to invite him as his guest knowing our fans hate Jones.

The trust say they've passed on the supporters grievances regarding Watson and Valleys goblin today. Apparently it was 'received and understood'.

its embarrassing for Watson and the board that this needed to be raised to them.
Whoever is running their Twitter account should have the keys taken off him and never be allowed near it again

Most people laugh at them at the best of times but the Twitter account is plan embarrassing

Jones' club allegiances aside - taking him (with his history with Watson and as an out of work manager) to the Derby while Duff was under pressure was a surefire way to undermine our manager. Out of order.

Yea you'd think so. But this would mean that they thought there was nothing wrong with the goblin being Watsons guest at legoland and that they either ignored the consequent outcry from our fans or didn't think the criticism was warranted.
Wasn’t Jones down here the night before as well fine dining with Watson?

I think this is more a case of being tone deaf (and having built zero trust with the fans)

It seems clear that they are friends from their time at Luton together, and them sitting together for a game when the opportunity arises is not a big deal to me in itself - even if his mate happens to be a valley's goblin.

This likely would not have even been mentioned had the football operation PW put together not been getting rudely boondangled by Bournemouth in front of horrified fans. It goes back to the tone deaf comment - the jury is still out on PW and he's looking like a busted flush right now; he would be wise to just play a straight bat until such time as the club is soaring up the league - at that point, he could hire a box and fill it with Jones, Bartley the Bluebird, Neil Warnock, Bobby Madley, Thomas Frank and anyone else, I doubt anyone would care.

He gives the impression of being a bit too sure of himself and his position based on pretty much nothing. He was no doubt behind the hiring of Duff that turned out to be a disaster. We then had a bunch of sh*t signings, a manager search he led that lasted 34 years and just ended up appointing a guy who was assistant to the previous manager here, who, it turns out, would have said yes to comng on day 1 of the search if we'd asked.

Need to pull some rabbits out the hat this month and keep his head down.
