'Derby face possible points deduction after EFL wins appeal'

http://www.skysports.com/share/12302839

Bloody joke if they do get a points deduction and it goes onto next season.

I would literally piss myself if the deduction is applied to this season in fact i'd have a ragin hard for a week, I f**kin detest Rooney

If Derby get relegated, then Wycombe stays up. An amazing escape if that happens.

They'll appeal and drag it out so that any possible deduction is applied next season

The fixtures come out in around a month, I can't see them messing around after that.

I agree JJ, the EFL will treat them the same as sheff weds.

Speaking of Derby and the classy club that they are:

Today Richard Keogh won his compensation claim against them after they sacked him for gross misconduct but kept on Bennet and Lawrence (presumably as they were the most saleable assets they had) despite the fact that Lawrence was the one drink driving and both him and Bennet fled the scene leaving Keogh unconscious in the back seats.

EFL heard their appeal and threw it out so thats another 2.3 million or so down the hole as far as they are concerned all because they tried to force a pay cut on a player, he refused and they immediately sacked him.

Reading their message board, they bizarrely blame the player for not loving them. I mean how could he.

"£2.3m? Blimey, I bet that made his eyes bulge!

Money in the bank, or living a long and prosperous retirement as a DCFC legend?

I know which one I'd have chosen... but then I guess we are made from different stock!"

Haha, deluded.... of course you can feed you family on being a legend.

I remember thinking at the time that they were out of order sacking him and keeping the other two, also thought that keogh could have very good grounds to sue.

Agreed, they were bang out of order and it was obvious that it was all financially motivated by Derby since they didn't punish Lawrence or Bennett in any way. Glad to see them get their comeuppance, all thats left is for the EFL to act in time and dock them points to complete a well deserved season.

I think most of us would like that to happen but I seriously don't it though.
